MUA Blushers- Daisy Reviews and Ratings

I've always liked a pop of colour on my cheeks, whether it's a pastel/pale pink or a cute swish of coral, blushers are one of my all time favourite beauty products.

I've recently purchased 3 MUA blushers from Superdrug and at a retail price of £1 each, these cute little blushers are one of the best I've ever tried.

MUA Blushers; shades from left-'Lolly, 'Candyfloss' and 'Cupcake'
MUA (Makeup Academy Professional London) are a UK based make up company with a wide range of products including the ever-popular One Direction range, 'designed' by the boys themselves. MUA are a new company and all their products are available from any Superdrug store and prices range from £1-£8 (I think..). Some MUA products are a little disappointing and a little bad quality but you get that with every company MUA 's best products include their 1D range, blushers, new Luxe range and lipsticks, as well as their stunning eye shadow palettes such as 'Heaven and Earth' & 'Undressed' which are UK dupes for the world famous Urban Decay Naked Palette I'm a fan of MUA products! Here is all of their products available at Superdrug. http://www.superdrug.com/brand-shops/mua/icat/bs-mua

My first view of the blushes was the fact they are so pigmented; they do claim to be one of the longest lasting blushes on the market at the moment. I would say the packaging isn't that eye catching it's a bit plain and boring, and with a clear lid it could smash easily. However, unless you are buying from Benefit Cosmetics you can't expect too much from packaging design!

I like to use my Real Techniques blush brush or Boots No.7 brush with these blushers.
These blushers are very long lasting, but can fade easily if not applied properly. My favourite shade is probably Lolly or Cupcake, as they suit my skintone better, flush! The only problem is while applying and blending in, little bits of the blush tend to fall off your brush, but for £1 you can't go wrong! And the names are super cute too!!

I would like to try the MUA Cream blushers as I would be able to show swatches, but here are the 3 shades below.

Lolly
Lolly is probably my favourite shade as I think it's perfect for the spring/summer time as it has a very matte finish and looks lovely too. As there is a lot of pastels and cute colours in the Spring/Summer time a pop of creative coral will polish the flawless, fresh Spring look and Lolly is perfect for this!

Candyfloss
I love how pigmented and bold Candyfloss is, it lasts for hours and is the brightest of the shades I have. I don't think this colour would suit everyone, but is great for a bold statement with your look. It's a great pink and one of the nicest shades by MUA.

Cupcake
Cupcake is probably the shade I've used the most out of all 3 as it is very easy to wear and gives you a natural look. It definitely suits my skin tone and it's one of the best blushers I've ever used, better than some higher brand ones. I do have one or two friends who tried this and found it hard to blend in but overall I think it's great, especially for someone who is trying blusher for the first time.

If anyone was wondering..

I N T R O D U C T I O N

After reading so many blogs recently and becoming obsessed with the fabulous world of fashion and beauty, I thought I'd start my own blog, Daisy Chains and Paper Planes.

My aim is to inspire young girls who are interested in fashion and/or beauty and show them that they are beautiful, inside and out. I don't see makeup as a way to cover up your flaws, it's more like drawing on your face, expressing yourself and making you a beautiful piece of art. (oooh that sounded a bit deep..)

In a world of style and sass, the fashion and beauty industry is one of the biggest industries across the world. All the art and buzz is something that excites me and something that I want to be part of. Following in the footsteps of my idols Zoella and Tanya Burr, I want to work as a makeup artist or a beauty blogger/vlogger.

In the past few months I've been purchasing and discovering beauty products galore after watching too many YouTube videos! Ever since I was young, I've been fascinated by runways and magazine shoots and wanted to be part of it myself, even though I'll never become a model. 'Fashions fade but style is eternal' is a quote I live by, but here's to the future of blogging and beauty, with me Sophie.
                                             Thanks for reading!
