Stiks Cosmetiks - Daisy Reviews (Soph) ♡

Lipsticks or lipstiks? Cosmetics or cosmetiks? Stiks Cosmetiks may have just had me wondering about the next few lipsticks I purchase...

Stiks Cosmetiks are have not only recently become renowned for their unique name but also line of lipsticks, or in this case, lipstiks. The PR team at Stiks Cosmetiks were kind enough to send me two of their most popular shades, Nude and Mauve to test out. Here's how I got on with them...

Stiks Cosmetiks go by the rule of "Flip it open, apply, click it shut', a simplistic application routine for even the most basic beginners. One of the noticeable differences about this product is the simple but versatile packaging and names of each shade. The product does what it says on the website without any unnecessary extras, making it value for money and what I said at the start - perfect for beginners.

Mauve - Comparable to one of my favourite lipsticks of all time, (MAC Rebel) Mauve created a strong but steady autumnal colour on my lips without the hot pink hues and undertones of Rebel. I was pleasantly surprised by the staying powder of this formula as I saw no movement or bleeding of colour - even when I had something to eat or drink. For a brand that is sadly not shouted from the roofs about, this lipstick has made its way up to my top shelf along with my beloved Too Faced Melted Lipsticks. This shade will surely be used over and over throughout the colder seasons as I believe it works well with a golden or smoky eye look (e.g use of my Naked Smoky Palette). Well done Stiks!

Nude - Unfortunately I'm not as fond of this one as Mauve, but it doesn't mean that its not a perfect match for almost any look. Unlike Mauve I found the application wasn't as smooth on the lips and took a bit more build up to achieve the colour I desired. The shade has some lovely undertones with the tiniest bit of shimmer and has looked great when used both on myself and other people. If I'm completely honest this shade isn't worth the £15 price tag, but that doesn't mean you should get your hands on some of the other beauties!

Overall I've been pleased with these lipsticks and especially Mauve is value for money. the sleek, smooth packaging could easily fit in a makeup bag, pocket or purse! The range has recently been extended including shades such as 'Rose', how am I supposed to resist not ordering anymore?

AEOS - Daisy Reviews ♡

Skincare is very important, whether you wear makeup or not you still need to look after your skin. AEOS - Active Energised Organic Skincare kindly sent me some of their products to try out and review.

I am yet to have tried out all of the products that I have been sent so I am going to do a review on the products that I have tried out.

The set I received comes in a box like this with a little note also inside.
The set that I received includes: a cleansing oil, dew facial wash, refreshing hydrating mist, realive serum, gentle exfoliant, gentle cleansing lotion, energising conditioner, enriching moisturiser, beauty body shower and a beauty body lotion. This set is available on the AEOS website for £68. Even though this set is at a higher end price, its definitely worth the money and since Christmas is coming up you could possibly add it to your list!
The packaging of the products is very simple but they really catch your eye. I really like how some of the products come in tubes and others come in bottles.

The full set with all of the products inside.

The first product that I tried out was the Dew Facial Wash. Firstly this products smells amazing, its the nicest smelling facial product I have ever used! Before using this product you need to have damp skin, once you have dampened your skin you spray it on to your race and rub in. The only downside of it being a spray is that you cant just apply it to specific places meaning that you could possibly get some in your eyes. This product is definitely my favourite from the whole set and has made such a difference to my skin already.

The second product that I tried out was the Refreshing Hydrating Mist. This has got quite a similar smell to the Facial Wash and it is also a spray. I like to use this product at the end of my skincare routine to refresh my face and provide my skin with all of the essential oils.

The third product that I tried out was the Enriching Moisturiser. This product has got a lavender scent and it quickly absorbs to your skin. It is very smooth meaning that its very easy to apply to your face. However, this product is very similar to other moisturisers that I have used before.

The last product that I will be reviewing is the Gentle Exfoliant. This product has got the same smell as the facial wash and its also one of my favourites from the set. This is the best exfoliator that I have ever used, it has helped my skin and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth.

If you would like to go and check out AEOS's products click here. I definitely recommend that you do and I hope that you love their products as much as I do!

Thank you to the people at AEOS skincare for sending me this set to try out!
